OUR STORY
History
From its humble beginnings in 1942 as a small family run fabrication company Qualfab Ltd has grown into a highly respected Fabricating engineering firm, comprising of 3 specialised sites within the heart of the Black Country.
We have experience in all types of steel fabrication from small water tanks to 20 tonne Pressure Vessels.
Since 1992 following a close link with our sister Van Tongeren, we now focus on the manufacture of FCCU Cyclones for the Oil and Gas industry.
Since 2018 Qualfab has been run by a team of directors, who between them have a combined 150 years of service.
We have built systems designed by Van Tongeren for all the major oil companies and licensors worldwide.
Exxon Mobil, Shell, BP, Petro Ineos, Saudi Aramco, are just a few we regularly work for.
Supplying Oil Refineries in North America, South America, Asia, Africa and almost every country throughout Europe.
Our Cyclones are produced in house from raw materials to the finished heat-treated pressure tested product.
Our sites have a combined 5000 Sq metre floor space with an equal amount of land for storage. Oldbury Seven Star Road is where main materials are cut using CNC plasma and weld preparation is doneon the cut items.
Oldbury on Granada Trading Estate is the largest of our 3 sites, this is where forming, forming/rolling, welding and hex metal installation takes place.
West Bromwich is where the final operations take place, refectory installation is done by CM Refactories who are permanently based there, followed by heat treatment in our 15m x 4.5m Gas furnace.
Qualfab Ltd have been ISO approved for over 25 years.

Our ISO 9001 accreditation, not only covers the fabrication, but also installation of Refractory Lining, another unique reason to approach us.
